About 10 years ago, while enjoying some whiskey and cigars with one of my best friends, Vasillis “Bill” Anninos on the back patio, we started to have a discussion about how some of these whiskey brands try selling “premium” by just putting a fancy label on their bottle, or messing with how much water they put in their normal stuff and calling it something else.

And believe me, there is a ton of it and it is ridiculously confusing to regular people, like us. So we started out this journey with a singular mission: Be different. Truly different.

It meant we weren’t going to reinvent the same old thing and try to tell everyone how different and “exclusive” it was. There are plenty of large companies out there already doing that. We were actually going to create something unlike anything that really existed. Don’t get us wrong. We love whiskey! Or, whisky, for our Scottish friends. We do appreciate the artistry, the craftsmanship and most importantly the taste of many whiskies from around the world. It’s just we had a driven desire to do something differently than what everyone else is doing.

This philosophy and years of experimentation and challenging the federal government to approve this process, led us to develop a more labor intensive and higher cost method of distilling which created the smoothest, full-bodied flavor whiskey you have ever tried, called Temper Distilling. This proprietary method creates an arguably finished product in the still. In fact our “clearic” style, un-aged whiskey has won numerous awards, including a 93 rating in the New York International Spirits Competition and a Silver Medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Finishing our award winning whiskey in traditional oak barrels allows us to put the finishing touches on an amazing full-bodied spirit creating subtle, yet complex taste notes that we are sure you will truly enjoy! Getting traditionally made whiskey drinkers to try our revolutionary distilled method is somewhat challenging.
